Horde Scorpion Mount: It Looks Cool, But Will it Fit Through a Door?

On the most recent episode of the WoWphiles Podcast we mentioned the Horde scorpion guild mount the “Kron’Kar Annihilator” and the Alliance lion guild mount the “Reins of the Golden King”.
Today I want to focus on the Horde Scorpion mount for a few minutes. On the podcast we were in agreement that the scorpion model caused us both to pause and question whether or not we thought the scorpion was a good choice for a mount.
In the end we realized that the uniqueness of the scorpion model was a big enough plus to make us like the mount.
Now MMO-Champion has released more video of the Kron’Kar Annihilator mount which Blizzard has updated. With the addition of armor, the mount has become even better looking than it was before. Can you picture an army of Horde riding through the deserts of Silithis or Tanaris on these armored scorpion mounts?
It would be an intimidating sight for sure.
But if we look a little closer into the scorpion model, and start questioning the logistics of riding such a creature, I have to ask: will it fit through a doorway?
From the still images and the video it is hard to get an idea for the scale of the Kron’Kar Annihilator, but it looks quite wide, and it’s tail whips up pretty high.
So, my question to all of you is: would you be upset if your sweet looking scorpion mount can’t fit through doorways and can only be used out in an open world environment?
Personally, I might be kind of annoyed if that is the case, because I don’t like switching mounts very often, or having more than one mount on my action bars. We will have to wait to see just how this mount looks and functions live, and then decide whether we prefer form over function.
