I am the Icesnake, and this is my Emporium.

What we’re actually looking for is a mod to notify members of your party or raid when you are out of control. No, not when you lose your mind; when your toon is stunned, mind-controlled, asleep, or otherwise not under control of the player behind the keyboard. This can be very important if you’e the healer, and absolutely critical if you’re the tank.

Well, we didn’t find that, exactly, but we did find a couple that are close. Perhaps there’s a mod developer out there who can start with these ideas and add a few lines to make them perfect.

Control Lost notifies you whenever you lose control of your character, such as when you are stunned, mind-controlled, and so forth, by printing a notification on-screen and a distinctive sound.

LoseControl makes it easy to see the duration of crowd control spells by displaying them in a dedicated icon onscreen. Displays the duration of all CC spells and abilities on your player, pet, target, focus, party, and arena enemy frames. The most important buffs/debuffs are displayed first. LoseControl’s ccons can be moved, resized, and made transparent. There is also an options fix.

Inspired by Pannofhin of The Disturbed on Earthen Ring.

While researching this segment, I also found around three and a half pages of add-ons created by Skulhamr (that’s S-K-U-L-H-A-M-R) that add or modify in-game sound events. Click the name on the article to see them for yourself!
