[Aug 31, 2012 | Comments Off] by: Icesnake Frostfyre

Firstly, if you’ve listened to my segments, thanks!

Now to brass tacks. When I was recording my segments for the show, I tried to find good music for the background, music that was free and also interesting, and recorded in good quality. Freeplaymusic.com seemed to meet all of those criteria. Unfotunately, I didn’t read their terms of use correctly, and as a result, I now know that my use was a violation of copyright. As …

Account Security Warning

[Mar 31, 2011 | No Comment] by: Icesnake Frostfyre

This morning, as is my usual habit, I tried to log into WoW from the computer in our library at home. Instead of the normal “Authentication Successful” message, a larger splash screen popped up, telling me that my account had been locked due to a detected “change in play pattern.” Now, my pattern is highly predictable. I normally play on the computer in my home library mornings and evenings, on my office work computer at …

At first I thought, “What the heck, how is that even possible?” But then I thought, “Wait, I just logged in to WoW and my password works just fine. What …

Guilds to Have a Hardcap of 600 Members

[Oct 5, 2010 | 2 Comments] by: Jacob "Modem"

That’s right. Posted just minutes ago. Guilds will not be allowed to invite members after 600. Guilds with current memberships higher than that will still be intact but will not be able to invite new members until they drop themselves below 600.

Let the fallout begin. If you’re a part of a large guild, it’s about to get scary for you.

Here is the full post from Mumper:

New World of Warcraft Battleground: The Isle of Conquest

[Jun 16, 2009 | 2 Comments] by:

As someone who really enjoys PvP I am pretty excited about the new BG that is coming in patch 3.2 called The Isle of Conquest. It seems like they are taking the things we enjoy about Wintergrasp, (large scale battle, with siege workshops etc) and turning it into a battleground. I for one am really looking forward to this. Here are a few of the details from the official WoW site.
