Icesnake’s Add-on Emporium: WoW 5.2 (2013); Warlock Incursion

[Mar 9, 2013 | 2 Comments] by: Icesnake Frostfyre

I am Souleater, and this is my Emporium. It used to belong to Icesnake, but he’s a bit… Tied up at the moment.

Naturally, the only add-ons that matter are add-ons for warlocks. Here are three that you may find useful:

WarlockReminder reminds you of missing warlock buffs and procs, and shows your cooldowns. Included are combat reminders, such as Drain Soul or Molten Core. WarlockReminder creates 4 frames to track your buffs, combat procs, …

Icesnake’s Add-on Emporium: WoW 5.0.5 Segment 18; Deadly Boss Mods

[Nov 3, 2012 | No Comment] by: Icesnake Frostfyre

This is the Icesnake.

Today I bring you Deadly Boss Mods. If you are planning to raid, you need Deadly Boss Mods. If you have never raided before, Deadly Boss Mods (also known as DBM) will help you to look a little less like a noob.

DBM will help you know when to take action in boss fights, to keep you and your fellow raiders alive. If you use LFR, you should be using DBM.…

Icesnake’s Add-on Emporium: WoW 5.0.4 Segment 17; AttackNearestEnemy

[Oct 31, 2012 | 3 Comments] by: Icesnake Frostfyre

I am the Icesnake, and this is my Emporium. Stay awhile, and listen!

This segment is about an unusual add-on; one that you may use once and then uninstall, and still continue to benefit ffrom what it does.

AttackNearestEnemy creates a macro the first time you log onto a toon. The macro is tuned (no pun intended) to the character class of that toon, and placed in the macro section for that specific character. Once …

Icesnake’s Add-on Emporium: WoW 5.0.4 Segment 16; Hear Kitty

[Oct 29, 2012 | No Comment] by: Icesnake Frostfyre

I am the Icesnake, and you’re listening to my Add-on Emporium.

This segment is for those “resource users;” if your toon uses chi, mana, combo points, etcetera, or if you drive vehicles that use resources, Hear Kitty is for you. That’s H-E-A-R Kitty. This add-on plays a sound to let you know what’s happening with resources so you don’t have to glance away from your target.

Hear Kitty works for Druids, Rogues, Shaman, Priests, Hunters, …

Icesnake’s Add-On Emporium #43: Warlocks

Segment 43: Add-ons for Warlocks

First, let me apologize for being alphabetically-challenged last week, and getting Warrior ahead of Warlock in the add-on rotation.

Warlocks are generally called upon to provide DPS, along with some ancillary tasks like summoning soulwells, creating soulstones, and making coffee. No, wait, that’s mages who make the snacks and beverages. Well, whatever.

As a consequence, one very popular talent spec is Destruction. If you are a Destruction warlock, you’ll probably …

LFM 5k+ DPS Only!

[Nov 1, 2009 | No Comment] by: Jason Zimmerman

I’ve found myself in quite the catch-22 as of late.  No raiding guild wants a new 80, for obvious reasons.  I’ve been trying to find one who will let me sit the bench for a week or two, until I can gear myself up.  Nothing has happened as of yet.
Being that I don’t have a [...]

+10% Experience? Yes, Please.

[Jun 16, 2009 | 5 Comments] by: Jason Zimmerman

Leveling an alt is boring.  It’s a slow process of repetition.  Repetition through killing hundreds, even thousands of mobs, and through repeating the same quests you’ve done before with your main character.  Unfortunately it’s a necessary evil.  The end-game is where the game begins for many, and the only way to get there is by [...]
